CONVERSATION COURSES

About conversation courses

At each session, you will discuss different areas or topics concerning life in the Netherlands. Subjects are based on day-to-day tasks and experiences such as family life, shopping, arranging travel, making appointments, going to the doctor's office, and communicating in the workplace. The session topics are provided beforehand so that you may also prepare vocabulary before joining the discussions.

 

Conversation A2-B1 is designed for those who have completed course A2 at our school (or completed the book "Contact! Nieuw 2"), or are at level B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

 

Course level

You need to be on level A2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Completing the course

 

You can complete this level as a whole or in parts. Each session consists of 2 lesson hours. Each lesson hour lasts 45 minutes.
 

Course materials

Materials are included in the price of the course and are prepared for lessons by the teacher. The subjects discussed in Conversation B1 include:

  • Leisure activities and hobbies
  • Shopping
  • Holidays and celebrations
  • Health and fitness
  • Education
  • Media
  • Work life and job interviews
Course certificate
At the end of the course, if you completed 80% or more of the course's content and paid the course fee, you will receive an official digital course certificate.
