You can take a free placement test if you are not sure which level to sign up for. Please contact the school reception to make an appointment to take the test.
Covid-19 update 29.11.2021: Our evening courses (any course ending after 17:00) are continuing with online lessons due to the partial evening lockdown announced by the Dutch government. If you are participating in an evening course, you have been informed about this via email. This will be the case at least up to and including 18.12.2021. Daytime courses ending before 17:00 are continuing as planned in our classrooms. We will keep using our health and safety protocol for classroom-based, including the observing of 1.5 meter social distancing rules, sanitation and desinfection guidelines, and limited group sizes. Please contact us if you have any other questions.
These courses are offered especially for those who wish to use the summer holiday period to begin the study of a foreign language. The courses can also be used to improve your current level, review your language knowledge in an intensive way, or simply maintain contact with the language between courses.
The courses are offered at three levels (A1, A2, B1) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). At the A1 level we offer A1.1 and A1.2, at the A2 level there is also a part one: A2.1 and a part two: A2.2, at the B1 level there are four courses: B1.1, B1.2, B1.3 and B1.4. Those who are not sure about their current level of Dutch can contact us for an appointment to take a placement test at the school before the course starts.
Our intensive Dutch courses during summer are dynamic and active and intended to help participants become more effective when communicating in Dutch language. Although we emphasise a pleasant "holiday" atmosphere, the course is intense, which significantly accelerates the language-learning progress.
Besides the intenisve courses with lessons from Monday to Thursday, it also possible to join our standard courses during summer, which have two lessons per week.
